Short leashes (around 40 cm in our shop) are invaluable whenever you need to keep your dog strictly by your side. You don't have to awkwardly wrap meters of leash around your hand – your dog is under control immediately.

What is the difference between the version with a handle and the "straight" version?

A classic short lead has a standard loop at the end for a firm grip. In contrast, the "straight" tab leash (couračka) ends freely and straight, without a loop. This small detail is extremely important for safety: if a dog runs off-leash with the tab attached to its collar, the straight end prevents the strap from getting snagged on a branch in the woods or the dog's paw getting tangled while running.

On wider straps, we fix the connections with extra-durable saddlery rivets (e.g., for rainbow hardware, we intentionally use stylish and strong black rivets). The narrowest 10 mm versions are joined using reliable Chicago screws, which guarantee maximum tensile strength.
