Hexa collars are made from an innovative material with a PVC/TPU coating, featuring a distinctive honeycomb pattern on its surface. This makes these washable collars the ideal choice for active dogs and owners who don't want to waste time on maintenance.

How do they differ from BioThane®? While classic BioThane is smooth, the Hexa material offers better grip and a softer feel thanks to its texture. A key advantage is that the Hexa collar remains flexible and pliable even in freezing temperatures, unlike cheaper PVC substitutes that stiffen and crack.

Complete your gear with a matching Hexa multi-functional leash in the same color and get a set that can withstand even the most challenging terrain.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Hexa Collars

What is Hexa material and why is it better than nylon?
Hexa is a webbing coated with a PVC/TPU layer featuring a honeycomb embossment. Compared to nylon, it has a major advantage: it is completely non-absorbent and antibacterial. While a nylon collar takes a long time to dry after swimming and can start to smell, a Hexa collar only needs to be wiped with a cloth and is instantly dry and clean.
Is a Hexa collar better than BioThane®?
Both materials are very durable and waterproof. However, due to its pattern, Hexa material is less slippery in the hand and tends to be slightly softer and more flexible. This is especially appreciated for smaller breeds or in low temperatures, where it retains its flexibility better than standard Biothane.
How do I clean a Hexa collar?
Maintenance is extremely simple. If soiled with mud or sand, just rinse the collar under running lukewarm water or use mild soap. Thanks to the smooth coating, dirt does not penetrate the fiber structure.
Are these collars suitable for large dogs that pull?
Yes. The core of the Hexa collar consists of a strong textile webbing with high tensile strength. Combined with our high-quality hardware and honest craftsmanship in the Czech workshop Ritega, these collars are safe even for strong and active dog breeds.
Does the material lose its color over time?
We use high-quality materials with UV stability. Colors remain vibrant and bright even after long-term exposure to sunlight, water, or frost.
