We manufacture them from premium Hexa material with a honeycomb pattern, which ensures the strap doesn't slip even in wet hands, is 100% waterproof, doesn't absorb odors, and only needs a quick rinse after a muddy walk.

In our Czech workshop, Ritega, we hand-craft dog leashes with an emphasis on maximum strength connections and snap hooks. What is the difference between a classic and an adjustable (multi-purpose) leash?
A classic leash has a snap hook at one end to attach the dog and a fixed loop (handle) at the other for a comfortable grip. It has a fixed length and is ideal for regular walks where you don't need to change the distance of the dog. In contrast, an adjustable leash has two snap hooks and several rings, allowing you to shorten or lengthen it as needed.
How do I choose the right leash width for my dog?
Choose the leash width primarily based on the size and strength of your dog. For small and toy breeds, we recommend a width of 10 mm or 16 mm, as they are lightweight and have smaller hooks. For medium and large dogs, choose a 20 mm width, and if you have a giant breed or a dog that pulls hard, the widest 25 mm strap is the ideal choice.
Why are Hexa leashes better than regular textile ones?
Hexa material (PVC/TPU coated webbing) is completely maintenance-free. When a textile leash falls into the mud, it absorbs water, becomes heavy, and needs washing. A Hexa leash doesn't absorb anything, doesn't degrade, and after a walk, you just need to rinse it under running water—it's immediately ready for use again.
Are the snap hooks on the leashes strong enough?
Yes, we place great emphasis on safety. We use high-quality trigger hooks that are securely attached to the strap using sturdy Chicago screws (belt screws). This makes the connection extremely strong and resistant even to sudden jerks.
