We make them from strong Aqua webbing coated with a smooth PVC/TPU material (similar in appearance and properties to the popular Biothane). It does not absorb water, dirt, odours, or bacteria. After a muddy walk, simply rinse it off and you're ready to go again. What is the difference between Aqua material and a regular textile leash?
Webbing from the Aqua series features a durable synthetic PVC/TPU coating that completely blocks out water and dirt. Unlike standard textile leashes, it does not fray, does not get heavy when wet, doesn't feel cold in the hand, and will not start to smell over time.
How does the Aqua webbing feel in the hand when it rains?
Even though Aqua webbing has a smooth surface, the PVC/TPU material naturally provides a very comfortable and secure grip that feels like leather to the touch. While wet, soaked nylon slips and cuts into your palms, the Aqua leash retains its excellent properties even in the rain.
Is the Aqua Klasik series leash suitable for large and strong dogs?
Yes. The webbing (available in widths of 20 and 25 mm) does not stretch under tension and maintains its extreme strength for many years. Furthermore, all connections near the carabiners and loops are firmly riveted, so the leash will reliably hold even large and powerful breeds.
How do I care for a waterproof Aqua leash?
Maintenance is absolutely minimal. If the leash gets dirty, just wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse it under running water. The webbing does not absorb anything, dries instantly, and is ready for your next adventure.
Can I choose a different length or carabiner type?
Absolutely. We make all leashes by hand in our Czech workshop Ritega. If standard lengths do not suit you or you need a specific carabiner (e.g., a quick-release snap), just write your request in the order note.
