How to "charge" the clicker

Before you start training specific commands, your dog needs to understand what the sound means. Click, then immediately give a treat – repeat 10–15 times, a few sessions a day, 2–3 times daily. Once your dog expects a reward as soon as they hear the click, the clicker is charged.
